COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY

Monday, September 24, 2007
Is a bit of an odd place if you ask me. Why? Well, take the Minuteman Project for example; the people concerned with the securing of our country's borders (legitimate or not, that is their concern). Next, take the president of Iran; a holocaust denier and proponent of genocide.

A while back Jim Gilchist (founder of the Project) and another member of his organization (Marvin Stewart) were actually attacked and taunted with racial epithets courtesy of the "tolerant" students of Columbia University.

Meanwhile, the dean of Columbia University has said that the Project won't be invited back because of "security concerns" yet he is more than willing to host the president of Iran and Hitler. How dumb do you have to be? Columbia's policy is to silence the right and promote the left...and somehow that is "fair" speech? Screw the paltry dean of that dump and his leftist agenda. Go and get yourself an unbiased education for education's sake right now!

ALL YOUR LIES ARE BELONG TO US

In no real big surprise, the New York Times confirmed what the majority (save at least 3 million people) of America already knew: MoveOn.org did in fact get a special rate for their lame-ass ad aimed at smearing the reputation of General Patraeus. That means that every time that Eli Pariser opens his crap lousy face and says: "no, we didn't get a special rate..." he is lying. Think about that next time you think that Eli (an anagram for "lie", see, I can be childish as well) has something witty to say.

EAT IT MICHAEL MOORE

Friday, September 21, 2007
Presidential candidate Fred Thomson was challenged by snack king Michael Moore to a debate on health care (click here to read the letter that fat dickhead sent Thompson). Thompson's reply? Not only funny but no doubt made Moore look dumber than he already is. See it HERE.

LIKE, OMG!

It should be plainly obvious that omg! doesn't know what the hell "punk" is as they think it's a fashion statement. For that matter, nobody should really know what "punk" is. I know what it isn't and so don't you.

Anyhow, the title of some lame-ass pictures of Paris Hilton in a black dress called for omg! to claim: "Paris Goes Punk!" Pffft. Meanwhile, most of the rest of the sensible persons of this nation realized that it was just a hooker in some zebra shoes.

I don't know...perhaps it's mean of me to think that just because you post a video of yourself getting screwed every which way doesn't make you a decent person, forgive me. Or piss right off. It is sad to think that people actually look up to Paris at all, for any reason. Then again, it is the public that makes her so famous; STOP! Why weren't the sluts in your high school famous? Because you didn't promote them to silly proportions of course! I have no idea why showing your girl bits to the world makes you famous. What it should make famous is the industrial strength cleaning solutions applied to the car's seat the next day. Maybe it's cool to be a walking wet lab, or culture room of STDs? Who will know...Paris is burning...again.

PLAINLY, YOUR MONEY HAS BEEN WASTED

Sunday, September 16, 2007
Here is an interesting bit concerning a confused dummy that isn't even sure of which school she attends. Get one thing right off the bat: the author of this shoddy piece of work is a student at Barnard University, NOT Columbia.

Right off the bat you can tell the author, one Idris Leppla is a toon because the paper is sans any sort of real editing. To wit:
"This is the first part of a four part series. The following is the first part of a four-part series."
Really Leppla? You are so confident that it is the first part of four that you have to tell us twice already? I GET IT!
"It is written from a family member’s perspective and is mean to be understood in that way."
I can only assume that you intended to say "meant" to be understood in that way? Let's press on, shall we?
"I know why I chose Columbia: the campus is magnificent, the education is top-tier, and my peers are intelligent. I could look at a stranger, tell him or her that I went to Columbia, and hear the predictable, "Wow, you must be smart."
As mentioned before, the author apparently isn't even aware that she doesn't go to Columbia, but Barnard (affiliated with, but separate schools). Wow, you must be smart? Not so far sister.

Essentially, the author (should you choose to read this crappy piece of work), is whining about the service academies and the fact that her brother, wanting a challenge, joined the Navy. Now at Annapolis, her brother most assuredly is ashamed of his dopey sister for writing about something she knows nothing about. She is hard pressed to say she even knows where the spelling and grammar button is (F7) on Microsoft Word.
"However, for anyone else out there considering a career in the academy, let it be known: the U.S. Naval Academy is not an elite college; it is first and foremost a branch of the U.S. military and the prestige comes at a big price—it taxes parents, siblings, and participants if they do not understand what they were signing up for."
This is a funny one! Really dummy, the service academies are part of the US military?! Fact is, your brother knew what he wanted and even stayed, you said that. Sounds like you just can't let go and your mommy wishes he was still dragging on the tit. Let it go!
"The author a Barnard College senior majoring in political science."
Sounds like you are the one wasting your money on your so-called Columbia education! You're not even going to Columbia stupid! What's more: here are the rankings for America's best colleges in 2008. Let's see now...Barnard (which, remember stupid, is the college that you go to) is number 30 on the list. Not bad...but horrible when you consider that both the Naval Academy (#20) and West Point (#22) scored higher on the list than your school. I think this whole thing is because you are feeling duped that the US military might give a better education to your brother than you will get at Barnard. You, ma'am are jealous. Not only should your editor be slapped across the face, but you should catch some finger flak as well. Why did this ever get to print? Someone feels sorry for you. Egads, I would love to get my hands on some of your other "work".

Hat tip to Diary of a Mad Pigeon for bringing this one to light.

A COMMON SENSE APPROACH TO THE RIGHT TO OWN GUNS

Friday, September 14, 2007
Yes please. Take a few and read this comic strip put together by Peter Bagge over at Reason Magazine.

It is a common sense approach and begs the question as to why there is such lunacy over (both sides) on gun control and the RIGHT to own one. Enjoy.

HISTORY LESSON III

As defined by the National Security Act of 1947, covert action is defined as "[a]n activity of activities of the United States Government to influence political, economic or military conditions abroad, where it is intended that the role of the United States Government will not be apparent or acknowledged publicly."

Covert actions encompass many types of activities (2). They range from non-violent to violent as well as having an associated level of plausible deniability. As one may guess the more violence involved, the less plausible deniability or less covert the action will become. Typically seen as a third option (2), covert actions have benefited as well as plagued the United States government for some time now.

A perfect example of a covert action (at the time) is the 1953 Iranian coup d'etat aimed at replacing a nationalist regime with one of a more pro-Western nature. The more pro-Western attitude came from one Mohammed Reza Pahlavi. Also an aim was to keep communists from receiving too much power within the Iranian government and to consolidate power of a man (Shah Pahlavi) that the CIA allegedly had contempt for (1). Such is politics I suppose.

At any rate, the plan was initially hatched by the British in 1952 and not thought a good idea by the Truman administration. Come 1953 and the entrance of the Eisenhower administration, the idea was again broached and this time the United States took an active role due to the growing concerns of possession of oil as well as an apparent rise in the age old spectre that is communism. This operation was code-named AJAX (the official title is TP-AJAX). The British had a vested interest in Iran and her oil for quite some time prior to the planned coup.

The long and short of it is this: Britain occupied Iran during WWII in order to protect supply routes to the Soviet Union (at the time they were our allies) and had an interest in maintaining the oil fields. A huge proponent of instead nationalizing the oil industry was a crybaby known as Dr. Mosaddeq (elected Prime Minister). In 1951 Iran's parliament voted to do just that (1).

Shortly thereafter in 1953 and according to legend, an Iranian general approached the American Embassy in Tehran speaking about a plan to lead an army-driven coup. General Fazlollah Zahedi was that man. Around this time things began to heat up a bit in that Mossadeq's support and power began to fall apart. Also of note is that the Tudeh, or Iranian Communist Party came to activity around this time. Fear a la Red Scare style was bothering Washington DC (and for good reason) so they began to put their plan of using the shah of Iran and General Zahedi into action. It was the shah's family who 32 years earlier has overthrown the government in a coup of their own and took power. He was a sure fit.

The shah was to essentially "fire" the Prime Minister for being incompetent (he did this on his own) and replace him with the General who was anti-communist. The plan didn't work right off the bat and the shah fled Iran to Italy. After a bit of time the shah came back to Iran and did fire the Prime Minister. The coup was successful this time...but not before a bit of tradecraft manifested in the form of misinformation was used. In order to persuade the shah to come back and perform the coup, both British and American officers had a document drawn up at a meeting in Cyprus stating that Britain and the US "consider the oil question secondary" (History of Iran: A Short account of 1953 Coup). This wasn't the case as a direct outcome of the 1953 coup is now called the British Petroleum Company, or BP.

Also behind the scenes were assets of both Britain and the United States operating within Iran. True to the spy style and even though described as allies Britain and the United States were keeping their espionage distance; we didn't trust them and they didn't trust us in this case. Neither side would disclose their assets and share all the intel available.

All in all the coup was a success but there has been some blow back in the form of dissent of the Iranian people. It is still widely believed by some Iranians that today's United States is responsible for their faltering economy and general welfare. I am not so sure that the United States owns BP though...end sarcasm. In 2000, Secretary of State Madelein Albright actually apologized to "the Iranian people" for the United States' role in the coup. This coup was beneficial for western oil companies as well as the quelling of a communist threat. You know, apologizing for something that was an alleged covert action kind of negates the purpose of keeping it covert doesn't it? Thanks Madam Secretary.

It is unfortunate that a country such as Iran with all it's natural beauty and people more than willing to punch the Ayatollah in the face can't handle its own destiny and these actions have to occur. My guess is that they will continue to dissent and the "leadership" will be held accountable for the oppression of its own people. Piss off Ahmadinejad and Khomeini, you moonbat psychos.

IRAN'S "LEADERSHIP" IS JUST PLAIN STUPID

With a history of failure and state-sponsored terrorism, Iran's troubled leadership needs to float away into the annals of history. It isn't exactcly breaking news that Iran is supporting militants in Iraq with weapons and training either. Such a defunct state needs to reevaluate what they are talking about and realize they hold no real clout in politics aside from having the stigma of insanity attached to them. Even the cockbag Khomeini is standing firmly behind his views that Iran is flourishing. How can that possibly be? Iran is a dump and always will be.

WHAT IS WRONG IN NC?

Thursday, September 13, 2007
At a high school in Sampson County, NC there is actually a ban on the American Flag. As part of a new rule the school has barred students from wearing any flags of any country. Patriotism wasn't even allowed on the 6th anniversary of 9/11!

The superintendent of schools down there said that it was "unfortunate" but...

Has he forgotten exactly what country this is? A state such as NC as rich in the history of this nation (good and bad) is just going to fold like The Swimmers alibi on 18 July, 1969? Good call sissy pants, good call.

*NOTE*: On a good note, I am happy to inform the reader(s) that the ban on the American Flag has been rescinded as of 14 September 2007.

WOW, WHAT A SURPRISE

Wednesday, September 12, 2007
The new Democrat-controlled Congress has (big shocker) rejected General Patraeus' plan on Iraq. Now, why on earth would we want to defeat them there when they can just follow us back home and we can fight them here? Sound good? Well, the left thinks so. Who is pulling the strings on these idiots? To top it off General Patraeus was harassed by the morons over at MoveOn.un-org not because they had a point to make, but because his name rhymed with "betray us". What a load of unoriginal pieces of repeating shit. Despite all of this, I have to admit though, I would like to see my Congress do something productive. I don't even think they know the rules of how to do it!

DO SOME THINKING IF YOU CAN

With the Democrat-controlled Congress doing a miserable job, I am taking upon myself to do some extra research on who should be in the White House come, technically, 2009. Why the left speaks volumes about change and then does nothing about it isn't really a big surprise. History speaks for itself and the left doesn't have a good track record. Yes, there are those on the right with the same problem. I am thinking more along the lines of how it was the left that was against Civil Rights yet speak volumes about it today and even so still see fit to employ a member of the KKK, former or otherwise. Even the Klan has seen fit to give the man a lifetime achievement award! Some mentalities will never change and the left's weak position on terrorism, defense, foreign policy, economy, [insert nearly anything here], etc. proves that more and more everyday.

On the other hand, I am in hopes that the right might return to core values that it has had in the past. Small government, less taxes (flat) and strong on defense and terrorism. Will a candidate come forth with the values of the Classical Liberal? God, I hope so. That is exactly what this country needs.

MORONS ALLOWED TO ROAM FREE IN YOUR NATION'S CAPITAL

In other news comes some disheartening news: someone has defaced the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington DC. My guess is that because this wasn't an isolated incident (i.e. this happened in several places, past and present), that it was planned out and organized. That being said, the leftist mentality isn't usually synonymous with "bright" or "intellectual" but rather "confused" or "begging to belong". In that, some individual somewhere will spill the proverbial beans and at least a portion will be brought to justice. It is a near promise that the persons that carry this type of hatred out are the same crowd screaming to bring the troops home now. What for? So they can spit on them. Looking sharp in your Che t-shirt asshole. Standing up for a "cause" that died long ago and is today perpetuated by moonbats (i.e. Cindy Sheehan and her associated ilk). Human nature is a strange animal yet, you will be found.

WHY I SHOULDN'T BE COMMANDER IN CHIEF

By Barack Obama. In recent news and detailing his troop pullout plan, Mr. Obama (No Military Experience Whatsoever-IL) had this to say:
"Let me be clear: There is no military solution in Iraq and there never was,"
Seems to me that the military isn't deserving of this individual, nor this mentality. Don't do the service a disservice by putting this guy in charge of them America.
