THIS COULD GET UGLY, QUICK

With the election looming in the very near future, take a look at these hallowed words to be spoken by the elected individual at the inauguration:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Now, with that in mind would you rather have a President of the United States who has fought for that document, or one that plans to actively ignore it with ignorance (and a mere 143 days of executive servitude)? Perhaps the only thing that can save us in this case is the Electoral College.

Americans are going to be screaming for the wisdom of the Barry Goldwater's, the Pat Buchanan's, the Ronald Regan's, the Russell Kirk's and the William F. Buckley's who are just going to have to roll over and laugh at the ignorance of those who elected an official because they were scared of the repercussions. It is this same short term thinking that got us into the financial mess we are in. If the liberal minds have their way this will be dragged out just as FDR dragged out the Great Depression with his crap lousy policies. Get real and wake up America.
