OUTLOOKIE NOT SO GOOD FOR TOOKIE

Latest.As of 10 minutes ago, the California High Court has refused Tookie's stay of execution request. What this basically means is that Tooks will be executed on Tuesday as planned...and deserved as some may say. The only thing that may stop the execution is the granting of clemency by Gov. Schwarzenegger. Honestly, I am not so sure what makes Tookie so special. He murdered people and was convicted of the crime. Because he has written some books refuting his entire life's wrongdoings, many seem to think that this grants immunity to the Rule of Law and gives special circumstance.
While not entirely an even comparison, think if Chuck Manson began to write some "I'm sorry society" books, would that be grounds for granting parole? The answer is an emphatic and resounding NO! I don't see what the big deal is here...why is Tooks so special?
