WHAT IS WRONG IN NC?

At a high school in Sampson County, NC there is actually a ban on the American Flag. As part of a new rule the school has barred students from wearing any flags of any country. Patriotism wasn't even allowed on the 6th anniversary of 9/11!The superintendent of schools down there said that it was "unfortunate" but...
Has he forgotten exactly what country this is? A state such as NC as rich in the history of this nation (good and bad) is just going to fold like The Swimmers alibi on 18 July, 1969? Good call sissy pants, good call.
On a good note, I am happy to inform the reader(s) that the ban on the American Flag has been rescinded as of 14 September 2007.
