CONSPIRACY THEORY AND GAFFE

It should be relatively clear by now that Joseph Biden is not the right pick, for anything. There is much talk about how Biden is going to step out 5 October citing health problems and whatnot and Hillary Clinton will step in. This may or may not be the case, but we will have to see. In other news, Joe Biden gaffed a statement in relation to the financial crisis. He said that
"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened,'"Couple of issues I have with this. First and foremost is the obvious one that the article pointed out: The stock market crashed in 1929, there professor. FDR wasn't even elected until three years later in 1932. Next issue that I have is if Joey Biden is talking about the market crashing in 1929 and FDR getting on TV speaking about it, there is a decade spread there. You see, FDR was the first President of the United States to be on TV. This was in 1939 when he opened the World's Fair in New York.
