PRIORITIES HAVE BEEN CHECKED...BY THE IOC

Friday, October 02, 2009
Sad that it took the International Olympic Committee (IOC) to put President Obama's (and Oprah's by proxy?) priorities in check. I, for one, am ecstatic that Chicago lost the bid (in the first round, too) for hosting the 2016 Olympics. Why? Well, there are more pressing issues right here at home to contend with.

I wonder how much time and money were actually spent on this waste. I would have had more respect for the man had he was doing a good job. As it sits, Jimmy Carter is smiling because he may be bumped from his "worst president ever" perch by the current president.

I think that more time could be spent on, oh I don't know...the economy, or maybe this whole "health care" thing. At any rate, this can also be seen as yet another stoppage in the Obama, socialist machine. Good, he needs to realize that he cannot simply ruin a country based on his own ideology.
